This book had me on edge, I was hooked from the minute I started reading it. at one point I had a feeling who the unsub was but then as I contained reading, everything that I thought I knew about who the killer was , wasn’t. I couldn’t put this book down, can’t wait to start book 2.

I’m glad it wasn’t graphic to get the point on what happened in any particular part. I really like this Agent Kate Wise lady. Def looking forward to reading more with her involved. Could not get through this book

I found this book to be repetitive, boring, and to have a completely self absorbed main character. It is hard to believe the author has published so many novels with such weak and uninteresting plots. The book was so bad I gave up only a quarter of the way through and am sorry I devoted any time to it at all. What a snooze.

While Kate is smart and strong she second guesses herself at times when she should be sure. I liked the pairing of the two females and look forward to see what they solve next. Good read, went through it in 3 days. Keeps you on your toes and is interesting. I would give a 4/5 star if the book hadn’t had so many typos and there hadn’t been a hole towards the end that didn’t line up about the solving of the murder. Also, it bugged me that they only ever interviewed neighbors once rather than surrounding neighbors of all the cases. Just didn’t make sense. Maybe I’m too technical, but just felt somethings were left out that made me disconnect from the story and to make me not fully dive in.

Wow! I’m not much of a book person but this book caught my interest from chapter one! I was thrown off so many times and by the finally chapter I was ready to see what book 2 had to offer. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who like mysteries.

I rarely give 5 stars to a book, but this one truly deserves all 5. The characters are well developed, the plot rapidly moves along, yet still allows the reader time to understand the mind of the main character, Kate Wise. Her instincts are impeccable. I look forward to reading more books in this series. Agent Kate Wise and Agent DeMarco are a great team!

I would have rated his fast-paced suspense novel a 4 or 5 star book, if I wasn’t so bothered by the uses of God’s name in vain. The main character is described as a believer in God, but not so sure about Jesus. Another character talks about Christianity like it’s pure fantasy. I know this isn’t a Christian novel, but I ‘d rather know that the characters are total atheists, than read about characters who are so smug in their own intelligence that they have to be so downright negative about Jesus.

I would give a 4/5 star if the book hadn’t had so many typos and there hadn’t been a hole towards the end that didn’t line up about the solving of the murder. Also, it bugged me that they only ever interviewed neighbors once rather than surrounding neighbors of all the cases. Just didn’t make sense. Maybe I’m too technical, but just felt somethings were left out that made me disconnect from the story and to make me not fully dive in.

Wow! I’m not much of a book person but this book caught my interest from chapter one! I was thrown off so many times and by the finally chapter I was ready to see what book 2 had to offer. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who like mysteries.

I rarely give 5 stars to a book, but this one truly deserves all 5. The characters are well developed, the plot rapidly moves along, yet still allows the reader time to understand the mind of the main character, Kate Wise. Her instincts are impeccable. I look forward to reading more books in this series. Agent Kate Wise and Agent DeMarco are a great team!

I would have rated his fast-paced suspense novel a 4 or 5 star book, if I wasn’t so bothered by the uses of God’s name in vain. The main character is described as a believer in God, but not so sure about Jesus. Another character talks about Christianity like it’s pure fantasy. I know this isn’t a Christian novel, but I ‘d rather know that the characters are total atheists, than read about characters who are so smug in their own intelligence that they have to be so downright negative about Jesus.

This book had me on edge, I was hooked from the minute I started reading it. at one point I had a feeling who the unsub was but then as I contained reading, everything that I thought I knew about who the killer was , wasn’t. I couldn’t put this book down, can’t wait to start book 2.

After taking a break from reading for a while it was nice to read this. I have always liked mystery type books and this one was ok. I’m glad it wasn’t graphic to get the point on what happened in any particular part. I really like this Agent Kate Wise lady. Def looking forward to reading more with her involved. Could not get through this book

I found this book to be repetitive, boring, and to have a completely self absorbed main character. It is hard to believe the author has published so many novels with such weak and uninteresting plots. The book was so bad I gave up only a quarter of the way through and am sorry I devoted any time to it at all. What a snooze.

Blake Pierce has created another believable character, Kate Wise. This first book should lead the way for a thrilling series. While Kate is smart and strong she second guesses herself at times when she should be sure. I liked the pairing of the two females and look forward to see what they solve next. They compliment each other.
